Where We Work - Our Partnerships
Nigeria
A long term relationship, commenced during the ethnic violence of 2002-2004, aiming to revive the fortunes of a once great hospital, now struggling to serve a poor rural community in Plateau State
Pakistan
Funding and support to a mobile healthcare project serving brick kiln workers and their families from 2005 to 2008.
South Africa
A partnership launched in late 2008 to part fund and support an initiative by a church in KwaZulu Natal to pioneer a Home Care service to HIV/Aids sufferers where over 60% of the population are HIV positive.
Sudan
A long term partnership, initially in 2004 with another UK NGO, now exclusively with the influential civil society partner, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Sudan, headed by Bishop Elias Taban. The Partnership has enabled EPC to build, equip and staff a 50 bed Health Centre in an area of South Sudan with virtually no healthcare facility within a 20 mile radius.
The Out Patient Department was launched in 2007 and in June 2010, the first In Patient facility was dedicated.
